Amazon swords, anubias, cryptocoryne and vallisneria were chosen for varied leaf texture, color tone and sustainable long-term growth — a plant list built to still look composed a year in, not just on move-in day.

Livestock

Ember and diamond tetras school through open water above otocinclus and a bristlenose pleco on cleanup duty; dwarf honey gourami and African dwarf frogs (Zaire platinum and standard) hold the midground, with amano shrimp, nerite and mystery snails, and yellow clams rounding out the community.
