Elderfall Refuge

Planting

Dwarf hair grass and dwarf sag carpet the foreground; fissidens moss, bucephalandra, anubias, ferns, crypts and swords build out the mid- and background against the stone, planted into a Controsoil bed sized for a tank this large.

Livestock

Angelfish and congo tetras give the piece its scale and movement, with pearl gourami and glowlight danios filling the water column. Amano and neocaridina shrimp, otocinclus catfish, bristlenose plecos and bamboo shrimp handle grazing and biofilm duty, with mystery and nerite snails on cleanup.
